Untitled American Girl Book Scheduled for October 13 - Young Adult Book?

An untitled American Girl book with no author listed has been scheduled for October 13, 2026. My original hunch was that this was going to be Girl of the Year 2027's book, but it is 256 pages, which is double the amount of a normal Girl of the Year book.

I have a bit of an unhinged theory, but it might be possible. Earlier this year, Mattel announced the first ever Barbie novel targeted to young adults, written by New York Times bestselling author Alex Aster, who primarily writes young adult fiction. I'm curious if there is going to be an American Girl book targeted towards young adults and adult collectors - but either way, whatever this is will be a surprise!
