Today, me and my sister's boyfriend had a day where we hung out together, and our first stop was the American Girl store in Nashville! Even though I went last week, there were so many new things to take pictures of - Christmas decorations, the Kirsten collectible doll, and the Anna and Elsa dolls out on display! Plus, an alternate cover of the holiday catalog was available!

American Girl is having a sale this weekend - a $25 discount when you spend $150! Dolls, Lila's collection, Summer's collection, and Disney, NFL and Harry Potter collaboration items are excluded, but everything else is included.

2 new American Girl doll songs are available on streaming services - a historical themed song called Your Time Is Now and a Truly Me themed song called Friendship Is The Gift.

Sad news today on AGDN: Kelsey Lewis, who was the actress that played Nellie O'Malley in the movie Samantha: An American Girl Holiday, passed away on October 29. She was 29 years old, and was involved in a paragliding accident in California that cost her her life. Lewis in 2004 Since the American Girl movies were made not too long ago, I wasn't expecting the day where I had to make a post like this to come anytime soon, but unfortunately, that day has come. Kelsey's performance as Nellie touched so many people, including me, and gave light to the important issues in her story, including themes of poor working conditions and child labor that resonate to this day. Kelsey's talent shone through in her performance, and according to the source that reported her death, it seems like she kept that talent going all throughout her life, as she spent the final years of it as a dance instructor and DJ in San Diego, California. I have no words for this tragedy. Rest in Peace, Kelsey, and I am sending love and light towards the Lewis family as they navigate their loss.

I went to AG in Nashville today, hoping to get photos of Christmas decorations - since according to corporate America, now that Halloween is over, Christmas starts TODAY. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any Christmas decorations inside the store, but fortunately, I SAW SOMETHING EVEN BETTER. A empty Christmas-themed cube. With a cabin. Inside the Historical section.
