American Girl's relocating the Dallas store to The Shops at Park Lane, and they have set a date of finishing construction to January 2024. This means the old store will close/the new store will open around February 2024.

Details for American Girl's Black Friday sale for 2023 were just revealed in the QG Holiday Shopping email, which was posted to the American Girl subreddit. The Black Friday sale will be: "10% off a qualifying order between $75 and $149.99, or 15% off a qualifying order between $150 and $249.99, or 20% off a qualifying order greater than or equal to $250. Maximum discount is $75. Lots of exclusions, including all 18" dolls."

The American Girl Doll Hospital has been renamed to the "American Girl Care Center" to reflect that they do doll hairstyling in addition to repairs.

Kirsten Larson won the poll for the Doll of the Month for October 2023! (Edit made by AGDN reader Raine) In 1854, Kirsten just moved from Sweden to America, settling in Minnesota after a long journey. Along with her family, Kirsten experiences the challenges and surprises of a new life in America, including going to school and making friends, celebrating holidays, the arrival of a new baby sister and even being attacked by a bear and her house burning down. Kirsten was released in 1986 and retired in 2010. In celebration of American Girl's 35th anniversary, Kirsten was rereleased for a limited time in 2021.
