I found out from a lady at the American Girl store in Atlanta yesterday that Maggie Elizabeth Jones, who played Lea in Lea To The Rescue, is coming to the Atlanta store for a meet and greet! I will share a bit of more information about the meet and greet But first, I'll tell you a bit more about Maggie.

Maggie Elizabeth Jones is 12 years old and played the role of Lea Clark in the American Girl of the Year movie Lea To The Rescue. She has been acting since she was 7 years old, and her first movie was a 2010 Fox television movie that was called Most Likely To Succeed. Outside of the American Girl fandom, Maggie is known for playing Rosie Mee in the 2011 movie We Bought A Zoo. She has been interviewed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Ellen Degeneres Show for her role in that movie.

The meet and greet will take place on Sunday, August 14, 2016. At 10:00 am, you will get to meet Maggie Elizabeth Jones, do a craft, get a goody bag, have a photo opportunity in front of a red carpet, a snack and a screening of Lea To The Rescue at the Marriot Windward Hotel if you pay $10 per person. There are reservations required for this experience.

If you don't want to go to the screening but you want to meet Maggie, you are in luck! At 11 am, when the store opens, you will get to meet her for FREE. She will be at the store until noon, so come early if you want a good chance of meeting Maggie!
