Addy is the Doll of the Week this week!

Addy was released in September 1993. She has a face mold that was unique to her until 1995, black textured hair, and brown eyes. Her meet outfit was a pink dress from 1993 until 2014 and a blue dress from 2014 on.

For the majority of the series, Addy lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her mom Ruth in 1864. Later, her dad Edward, her brother Sam and baby sister Esther move in.

In Meet Addy, she and her mom escape from slavery in a plantation in North Carolina and journey up north. In Addy Learns A Lesson, Addy learns to read and write for the first time- but she finds an aptitude for learning and eventually wins the class spelling bee. In Addy's Surprise, she works hard in the dress shop she lives in to make money for a present for her mom, but she's surprised with a special dress of her own. In Happy Birthday, Addy, she struggles to decide when her birthday should be since slaves don't know their birthdays, but finds the perfect day once she's surprised with good news one morning. In Addy Saves The Day, her church puts on a summer fair- and she must work with her enemy Harriet AND save their money bin from a robber. Finally, in Changes for Addy, her family is mostly reunited once the Emancipation Proclamation goes into effect and frees slaves.

Addy was cubed in 2017.
