Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it won't be possible for the 2020 American Girl Benefit Sale in Madison, Wisconsin to take place in person. For this year only, American Girl has allowed the sale organizers to sell items online in support of the Madison Children's Museum and American Girl's Fund for Children.
To reconfigure the sale, the organizers have released a survey to ask if people would like curbside pickup, expensive shipping or both as options for the online sale. They are also considering reopening ticket sales so more people can take advantage of this unique Benefit Sale.
What do you think? While I knew this was eventually coming due to COVID-19 and the amount of travel the sale attracts, I am hopeful that they're able to do an online sale. If they sell more tickets, though, I'm totally buying some!
@beri kitty makes sense. Usually the sale is in lat July, but they were gonna so it in a new location this year so the dates were changed to mid July. I understand the mix up though.
@Craftysquirrel I only found out about the sale a few weeks ago and I had asked someone about it and they told me June. (probably an accident)
That’s great @Kate’s Dollhouse. Sorry you didn’t already get tickets though🥺.
Okay. So, I emailed the Benefit Sale yesterday, and they have already gotten back to me! I'm impressed! I asked how I can get tickets, and they basically said they're still deciding if they can even have it at all, and to just get on the email list, and we will be updated.
I thought you knew lol. It’s okay. People who haven’t gone usually don’t know everything😀.
