In addition to Girl of the Year 2021 Kira Bailey's series, American Girl will be releasing some more books on February 16, 2021!
First, Courtney: Friendship Superhero will release on February 16, 2021. I can't wait to go to the bookstore and grab it as soon as I can to continue Courtney's story!
Guy Stuff Feelings, aka, the boy version of The Feelings Book, will also release that day. It is written by Cara Natterson, who wrote The Care and Keeping of You 2 and Guy Stuff.
Two informational books written by Mel Hammond will release in February 2021 as well. The first one is entitled Pets: Getting them, caring for them, and loving them and is about- what else?- pets. The second one is entitled Love the Earth: Understanding climate change, speaking up for solutions, and living an earth-friendly life, and is pretty much the smart girl's guide to climate change. Mel Hammond is the pen name of Melissa Hammond, a content development editor at American Girl.
P.S: There won't be any Doll of the Week this week because I forgot to put Just Like You 38 on the header. This week will be her time to shine on the header, and then we'll move on to the next doll!
P.P.S: I'll also be showing a look through the Holiday 2020 release over this week if there's nothing else to post. I'm sorry I didn't do a comprehensive post on the release, it's just I've been busy with something else that I can't tell you about just yet. Stay tuned for both those things!
Is it just me or does Courtney look like Buzz Lightyear? Ha Ha! I can't wait to read her book. It should be interesting to read.
Can't wait to see her Crystal Starshooter spacesuit released too in doll form like shown in the Meet Courtney Stop Motion movie and Dolled Up with American Girl on YouTube...
i can't wait to read court's book! it's interesting how kira's series will be released then instead of january. speaking of new books, a historical coloring book featuring all the girls (minus court but with kirsten, lissie and molly) called 'inspiring stories from the past' will be releasing tomorrow! :D

Thanks for the update! Really looking forward to the Guy Stuff feelings book for my preteen boy! The first Guy Stuff book was great! Glad they are starting to include the boys more. :)
