When I went to the AG store in Charlotte, North Carolina today, I noticed that the mask rule in stores has changed. Now, you’re only required to wear a mask if there’s a local mandate requiring it or you’re not vaccinated. I still wore my mask because I’m not vaccinated, but my dad (who’s 100% vaccinated) walked around AG mask-free.
Later, I’ll make a list of stores that still require masks for all customers due to local mandates.
Just to put it in perspective - my elderly father in a nursing home got covid. He survived just fine. Most people who do catch it are just fine. Not that I recommend trying to catch it, but the fact that someone in isolation who only had contact with masked people caught it tells me that the masks aren't doing much good. Best practices should always be in play - hand washing, not going out in public when you are actually sick, etc. Please do not live in fear of the world around you. Be prudent, but not fearful.
This makes me scared.
Im gonna wear a mask till 2030.
Was Truly me 58 on display when you went to the AG store. I heard on instagram someone said that at another AG store they taked 58 off display and a AG epoloyee said they will gonna retire her.
Thanks very much for the update! We were there last Saturday and had to wear masks. Mom did buy me Kira Bailey so it was worth it. So happy, since we are vaccinated, that we don't have to wear masks next time.
interesting! i'm fully vaccinated, but i'd wear a mask if i went to an ag store. it's good that other vaccinated people have options now! :)
