It's been a bit since American Girl has released school-themed items for Truly Me dolls. Usually, they release them every 2 years, but with the shakeup of the Truly Me line last year, the release was delayed ... to this year!
I have heard rumors that new Truly Me school items set for release this summer include a new backpack and desk set.
