American Girl just trademarked the names 'Blix' and "Trilby'.
Blix is a Swedish name meaning "Joy, cheer".
Trilby is an Italian name meaning "sings with trills".
Do you think AG could be reviving Girls of Many Lands or making 18-inch multicultural dolls?

My guess is that these are pet names. Maybe a pair of song birds? Very pretty, in any case.
Awhile ago I received a survey on if I would buy a boy Wellie Wisher with mock-up photos. I bet that these names are for him and possibly a pet for him.
the names are not my favorite but an Italian Doll would be gorgeous!
