I wanted to vote for Kirsten because she was the first American Girl I learned about, until I saw Marie-Grace as a choice. I feel like Marie-Grace never gets the attention she deserves, along with Cecile!!
Marie-Grace is one of my favorites, too! I really love her stories of friendship. Back in 2011, I brought the entire Marie-Grace and Cecile book collection, so I have all six of their books! It was at Books-a-Million, just a few days before they released. I also love Kirsten. Her book Kirsten Saves the Day was the third American Girl I ever read. But my most favorite of Kirsten's books is Kirsten Learns a Lesson, because I love her friendship with Singing Bird. I really like Blaire (though my most favorite Girl of the Years are Chrissa, Grace, and Jess). She loves creativity and concocting recipes.
Kirsten was my first way back when she was white bodied and I was all of 6, and I'm in the process of collecting her stuff for my Little House on the Prairie girls, so i had to vote for her (she'd totally rejoin my collection if she's ever uncubed, too)! BUT my dog and I are listening to a youtuber reading the Cecile and Marie-Grace books on walks, and it's fun to rediscover the series (I read it during the pandemic), so Marie-Grace is my second choice!

my girl kirsten!! :D
My vote has to go to Marie-Grace! She was my first doll back in 2013. 10 years and 42 dolls later, she's still one of my favorite dolls!
Kirsten is my first girl and my favorite. Marie-Claire and Blaire are two nice girls but Kirsten gets my vote.
