Kanani is the Doll of the Week this week!
Kanani was released on January 1, 2011. She has the Jess mold, brown hair, medium skin and hazel eyes. She was the Girl of the Year 2011. She came in a blue dress.
Kanani is a girl from Hawaii who finds out the true meaning of aloha when her cousin from New York comes to visit and Kanani rescues a seal.
Kanani sold out on December 9, 2011.
This was a really enjoyable read and a nice reminder of why Kanani remains such a memorable Girl of the Year. Her Hawaiian background and story about sharing the “aloha spirit” make her stand out in a meaningful way, especially compared to some of the more recent releases.The way you explained the topic was very clear and helpful. I recently came across a similar discussion on a review blog fake certificates, and it offered an interesting perspective as well. It’s always fun seeing older dolls highlighted like this and remembering what made each one special in the first place.
