Every year until 2020, there were Truly Me dolls released in June. This changed with the Street Chic launch of March 2021, and the Truly Me revamp of September 2022. But I have a theory - one that leads to maybe, just maybe, new Truly Me dolls next month.
Usually, American Girl's modern dolls take 18 months to 2 years to launch. Using this rule of thumb, the Truly Me revamp was thought of sometime in late 2020 or early 2021.
When was the last time mainline Truly Me dolls released before the revamp? 2020.
American Girl might have hit pause on their old releasing pattern due to the revamp, but there still is a chance they could restart it and release a new Truly Me or two this summer...
(Or maybe not. Last time American Girl released many Truly Mes at once back in 2009, there were no new Truly Mes in 2010 and the next one released in 2011.)
