I was surprised to see that when factoring in all the rereleases, Samantha and Molly have been out longer than Addy! Despite this, Addy is still the longest doll to be sold without ever being discontinued.
Plus, it makes me feel old to see Maryellen release 7 years ago, Melody release 6 years ago and Nanea release 5 years ago... I remember those release days like they were yesterday...
Comment below if I should do Truly Mes next!
my mom remembers the day that PC released.
Do you think AG is going to bring Felicity and Samantha back soon?
Wow that’s so interesting! I had no idea addy had been around so long!!! Thanks for this it’s very useful for me!!
And I would love to see a similar list of the Truly Me dolls! Thanks so much for your hard work!
I’m probably the old lady in the room — I remember the very first PC catalog arriving at my parents’ house in 1986! It was just Kirsten, Samantha, and Molly back then, and Samantha and her collection were most popular among my friends. I remember how everyone wanted her birthday collection, with the beautiful lemonade glassware and the teddy bear and pram!
