I hate that the stores are closing. I know most people are starting to order online, but one of the best parts about the store is the in-house experience. The boutique and bistro setting is phenomenal and even the way it is set up like a mini museum. To be honest it was even more like a museum when it first opened. Though it was greatly downgraded since then, I still enjoy going to the store and seeing all the dolls together and ordering foods from their times. Such a shame.
I realize this comment is completely off topic from the post it’s attached to, but I want some honest opinions. I have room for one more American Girl doll in my house. One. And I won’t be moving any time soon. I‘m really torn, as you might be able to imagine. I want a historical doll, and Im old school. I like the older American Girls best. I have the OG six and Kit. I’ve never had much interest in Kaya, but I’m beginning to have more since I believe she was the last character at least conceived while the company was being bought by Mattel. What do you guys honestly think?
I'm so sad that the San Fransisco one is closed! I got my first doll there, and it has a lot on memories. Although, my family and I travel a lot over the states, so I've been to almost all of them before they started closing. And thanks to you posting about, I went to the San Fransisco one right before it closed. Thank you so much because if I hadn't known, I wouldn't have gotten that last chance to go.
I’m so sad that the Miami one closed because I got my first AG doll thair!☺️🤬
PS (The AG sore I go to is Charlotte, NC aka South Park mall)
I’m nowhere near a AG store sadly. The closest one was in Denver but that one is permanently closed.
