Just Like You 54 is back - with painted eyelashes! At least, that's what the rumors are saying. Not only are there going to be 2 new Truly Me dolls, and a new meet outfit, but a third new doll is coming, and the rumored description makes her seem a lot like Just Like You 54.

American Girl is having a sale for AG Rewards members this weekend - 10% off for silver members, 15% off for gold members, and 20% off for berry members. This applies to purchases $100 or more, and excludes dolls, Disney, Lila and Summer's collection.

The search for someone to direct the upcoming American Girl theatrical feature film, produced by Paramount Pictures and written by Lindsey Beer, is now underway. It was just reported that at the Sundance Film Festival last month, Mattel Films head Robbie Brenner was on the scene, searching for a director for the AG project. Previously, it was reported that Beer was going to direct from her own script, reportedly a cross between Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Booksmart , but it seems like that was just a misreport, and someone else will direct the project. Any hopes for this movie? My hope is a bit of a weird one, but I just want Paramount to market the movie well. Back when Transformers One, another Paramount movie based on a toy (that also happens to be one of my favorite movies), came out in September, no one went to see it because of a bad marketing campaign by Paramount. The company has had a long list of other mismarketed movies in the last few years, including Dungeons and Dragons, another toy-based movie. For the sake of AG fans everywhere, I don’t want our fandom to have to resort to TFHypeGuy tactics to even hear that AG has a movie (tldr - a Transformers fan made an entire Twitter account just to market the movie because Paramount was doing such a bad job!), so please Paramount, don’t screw this up. You can’t break my heart twice.

Several Truly Me dolls have sold out: Truly Me 103 Truly Me 104 Truly Me 106 I will let you know if they come back to stock, but if they don't come back to stock, these will be the first Truly Me dolls of the new era to retire.
