"The pricey line of dolls that you might have grew up with, American Girl, is ceasing operations 30 years after Pleasant Rowland (then 45), introduced Kirsten, Molly and Samantha into the hearts of 9-year old girls everywhere. Doll supply is limited. American Girl will fully cease operations on January 1, 2017."
