Through backdoor links, fans of American Girl have spotted stock photos of the Kavi mid-year release - 2 costumes themed to Wicked, the show Kavi sees for her 12th birthday in her story! From what I remember, Kavi wore an Elphaba costume to the show, and her friend Sophie wore a Glinda costume, so American Girl made both!
Each costume is $79.
Mine arrived last week! The costumes are gorgeous! I dressed Kavi as Elphaba and Kira Bailey as Glinda (because Glinda is blonde). We're going to see Wicked locally on July 16th. I'll probably take Kavi as Elphaba.
THAT PRICE IS RIDICULOUS! I highly doubt they will sell well. No matter how much anyone loves AG, no one would pay nearly 80 dollars for outfits.
the good witch outfit was tempting for me but not really truly worth it lol. I'd chose another doll over that and this is why I don't have many accessories.

These costumes are GORGEOUS, and the price seems fine to me. They are very fancy, special occasion outfits, after all! (They're licensed, too, right?) I don't have Kavi, but if I did, I know I'd be obsessed with these. Still hoping for some Claudie stuff to be leaked...
