Corinne is no longer available at every American Girl store except for Chicago. She also sold out on Amazon, so it seems like she will retire soon.

I haven’t been to the American Girl store in Charlotte since college started again in August, so when I came back to take pictures of the Moana doll, I made sure to get pictures of everything that has released since August!

With today's release of Moana 2, Moana is now fully released. I haven't been able to see what stores she's in, but I'm going to the Charlotte store today to get pictures - hopefully!

With the recent sellout of Kavi and the release of the Wicked movie, this latest stock update from Kavi's world makes sense: her Elphaba costume set is now on limited quantities. Make sure to get it (or the Glinda costume set, which is still fully stocked) before they are gone!

Ever since American Girl changed the length of time Girl of the Year dolls are available in 2017, there hasn't been a set time when dolls retire: they just have sold out when their stock runs out. I figured with Kavi's recent sell-out, I'd scour the AGDN archives (since the blog has been active since 2014, before the change was made) to find the exact dates Girls of the Year have sold out, and how long they were available for! Today (or yesterday - sorry, I didn't check GOTY stock yesterday!), the Kavi doll has sold out, officially retiring her a year and 11 months after her release at the end of December 2022. As Kavi has retired before Corinne, this is the first time in American Girl history where a Girl of the Year from a year after another Girl of the Year has retired. Corinne is still available, nearly 3 years after her release.
