  • Nanea Mitchell American Girl BeForever 2017 Doll!

I have some details about Nanea Mitchell, the new BeForever doll! CULTURE The doll will be Hawaiian. The proof is in her name! When I looked up Nanea online, it said the name origin was Hawaiian. *WARNING- THE REST OF THIS POST IS SPECULATION! THE ONLY THING CONFIRMED IS THAT SHE WILL BE HAWAIIAN, AND EVEN THAT'S NOT OFFICIAL!* TIME PERIOD There are two choices for Nanea's time period. The first one is more likely to happen since it's a rumor that's been spreading like wildfire, but it was originally posted on a source that I don't trust so it might not happen. The second one, though, is an idea I thought of that could happen, but it's just speculation. The first choice is that Nanea is from the early 1940's, when World War Two was just starting. This means that if this rumor's true, Nanea will be a couple years earlier than Molly. If you have been living under a rock and not have been taught this at school, America started fighting in World War Two when Japan attacked the navy base of Pearl Harbor, which was in Hawaii. That would mean that if this rumor is true, Nanea's perspective of World War Two would be a bit different from Molly's perspective because Nanea lives right where the action was and Molly lived on the home front. The second choice is that Nanea is from the 1890's, when Hawaii was transitioning from a independent country to a territory of the United States. People might think this can't happen because Hawaii wasn't a part or territory of the US yet, but it happened already. Josefina lived in New Mexico when New Mexico was still part of Mexico, and in Kaya's time the region she lived in wasn't even a part of any country! OUTFITS Yesterday, a new outfit that looked historically accurate for the 1941 time period leaked on eBay. Here it is: The below image is a drawing of fashion in 1941 that resembles this outfit: This outfit could end up being Nanea's if her time period ends up being 1941. But, who knows, maybe if her time period's 1894, Molly might be making a comeback? I remember being told by a AG employee that Molly might come back. That was almost 2 years ago! Or what if this is for Samantha or Rebecca? And now, the big question: WHEN WILL NANEA COME OUT? Melody's name was trademarked in June 2015, and Maryellen's name was trademarked in July 2014. If we state the fact that Nanea was trademarked in July 2016 and not published on Trademarkia until August 6, 2016 (aka yesterday), I have the feeling she will come out sometime in late summer 2017. But wait! I have a feeling what her release date will be. If the re-release of Samantha was on Thursday, August 28, 2014, Maryellen's release was on Thursday, August 27, 2015 and Melody's release is going to be on Thursday, August 25, 2016, than we have found Nanea's potential release date. AUGUST 24, 2017! Do you prefer Nanea being a 1941 girl or a 1894 girl?

I found a new American Girl doll BeForever outfit! I think it's for Nanea Mitchell. Maybe her meet outfit? It is so awesome! This is a drawing of a outfit from 1941 (Nanea's rumored year) that resembles this outfit. Thomas, Pauline W. 1941 Fashion. Digital image. Fashion Era. N.p., n.d. Web. 6 Aug. 2016. . The buttons are in style, and so is the dress. The apron is a neat replacement for the jacket and continues the button trend. Here's is the back of the dress: I can't wait for Nanea to come out! COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: What was the last place you've been (besides home?) MY ANSWER: Panera Bread.
