The 2024 American Girl holiday dolls will be available for sale starting September 4, and they were just unveiled! One is a Claudie mold, and the other is a Joss mold.

In a new catalog, a dance class bundle that comes with a Truly Me doll was unveiled as this year’s holiday Truly Me set. @amcangrl just posted the photo:

American Girl just posted a TikTok marketing their old Halloween outfits, meaning that we are most likely not getting new ones this year.

"Are you kidding me, Sydney? You just found out Raquel's name yesterday and you ALREADY have a theory about what she's like?" Yes. Yes I do. So, I have talked about before how every 5 years, the Girl of the Year is from an exotic location or goes to a foreign country. 2006 - Jess went to Belize. 2011 - Kanani is from Hawaii. 2016 - Lea goes to Brazil. 2021 - Kira goes to Australia. This leaves 2026 as another travel doll... but WAIT! There's something more that can come with this! Reyes is a Mexican last name, so it's likely that Raquel will be Mexican-American. Guess what country is partially having the 2026 soccer World Cup? Mexico. So here's the theory: either Raquel loves soccer, or she goes to Mexico for the World Cup while also loving soccer. What do you guys think?

American Girl is having a back to school sale this weekend!

A new potential Girl of the Year 2026 name has been trademarked: "Raquel Reyes". Luzita has also been trademarked, which could be a potential pet name. It seems like Raquel will be our 2026 Girl of the Year!

1 year ago today, the cast of American Girl: Live in Concert found out they were cast in the show, so to celebrate, cast members Jocelyn Lonquist (Courtney), Hannah LeBeau (Julie), Melody Munitz (Madison), Tiffany Beckford (Claudie), and Holly Hinchcliff (Nicki in a few shows, including the Charlotte one I went to) had a reunion celebration!

Today, American Girl posted a music video on their YouTube confirming that the Girl of the Year 2025, Summer McKinny is “almost here!” There’s not much other information about her in the music video, just archive clips of old videos with the past 5 Girls of the Year, but it’s nice to note that AG is starting to promote that the next Girl of the Year is coming!

Today is Ruthie's birthday! She was born today in 1923, which makes her 101!
