The American Girl place in Charlotte is having a Halloween Spooktacular today from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Mall Center Court.

The American Girl shop-in-shops at Toys R Us are having their grand opening today! They will sell WellieWishers and 26 of the 40 Truly Me options. They also have some retired Truly Me stuff in the store: Missed out on the Canopy Bed And Bedding? Ta-da! The bed set is at Toys-R-Us! Really wanted #43 but she retired before you could save up for here. Today's your lucky day! They have #43 at Toys R Us! Do they have Truly Me dolls at your Toys R Us? Mine doesn't, but that's OK! I have an American Girl store 30 minutes away from me and a Kohl's that sells dolls 2 seconds from me!

Now, the Samantha Parkington doll is available to purchase at Costco stores nationwide! She comes with everything she comes with at American Girl, plus the holiday dress for her that leaked on eBay earlier this year and her fancy coat. Her price is $119.99. That's pretty good, considering that this set has a value of almost $200. This confirms that Samantha will be retiring to make room for the return of Felicity Merriman in 2017. I have a Pre-Mattel Samantha that I got on Facebook in July 2016, and I love her! I also have a BeForever Samantha that I have in the box along with three other dolls in the box to donate to the hospital this holiday season. If you want Samantha, get her before she's gone! Now, they come with a pamphlet about American Girl. It has been told that the change is taking affect in the American Girl stores and dolls sold online too. Sorry for not being active on here all day! Since Friday night, I've been having a really bad cold and my voice is gone. Basically all I've done since I've woke up is binge-watching Miraculous. American Girl trademarked Z Crew, Z and her official first and last name..... drumroll please.... Z YANG! They also trademarked some logos for her line: Woah! I can't believe my eyes over here! There's lots of names that we have no clue about their use. Della, Barbara, Nanea, Logan, and now American Girl trademarked another name? Talk about how NOT to save money. For Quarter 3 of 2016, American Girl's sales rose to a whopping 15% from Quarter 3 2015. I have a feeling that the WellieWishers, along with the deals with Amazon, Kohl's, Toys R Us and Costco are helping this rise. I predict that American Girl will have a strong finish for 2016 and I hope Gabriella will outsell Isabelle, Grace and Lea combined to push American Girl to not discontinue the GOTYs. AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: American Girl made it's first million during it's inaugural holiday season. COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: How many dolls have you purchased/gotten this year?
