Since the eBay people are being annoying and aren't picking up any unreleased stuff from the factories, I am introducing you to the world of Golden Girl, the newest show from my YouTube channel, SM Network! It is inspired by Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug And Cat Noir and the movement of dolls with a prosthetic arm. Golden Girl is about a 12 year old girl named Madelina Currens (played by ME!), who is on her school dance team, loves her dolls and also has only one arm (thanks to greenscreen magic, don't think I chopped my arm off for the show). When she wins a huge competition at dance, the trophy she wins causes her dolls (played by Grace and Sonali) to make her able to transform into Golden Girl, a superhero who has the power to fly and save people with her magical Goldies (aka: random puffs of tinsel which I taped on a green cord). When trouble strikes, you can count on Golden Girl to save the day! Golden Girl's season will be 20 episodes long. Episodes will be 5-10 minutes. Holy canole, Ladybug! American Girl is getting a themed-tablet made by Nabi! Nabi is a maker of tablets for kids that's parent company, Fuhu, was acquired by Mattel last year. I saw a commercial for a Nabi tablet a couple years ago on Disney Channel, so I am familiar with the brand. Mattel decided to use the acquisition for a good use to it's other brands and decided to make Barbie-themed, Hot Wheels themed and....... drumroll, please.... AMERICAN GIRL-THEMED TABLETS! The American Girl themed tablet will be like a regular Nabi tablet, but it will have these features: Regular Nabi tablet features, included screen time controls for parents and a red (berry for American Girl) bumper More than 70 apps featuring both American Girl characters and crafts for your doll I think this will be cute for young American Girl fans who aren't old enough for a real iPad, but give me my iPad complete with American Girl apps and I'm good. The American Girl tablet will be released in October and will retail for $79.99. Way cheaper than a real iPad. AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: This is American Girl's first ever foray into human technology. Today I got a doll-in-waiting in the mail! It's a secret who she is until I officially earn her, but here's a hint- retired GOTY with hazel eyes! She also came with a number of goodies that I could have now: -A My American Girl Charm Necklace and two charms -The Beachside Outfit -A doll hairbrush -Two doll tote bag -Two Just Like You books- "I Love Cheerleading" and "29 Ways To Relax" - A Innerstar U code for #27 (but the doll I got isn't #27)- I'll try it out on the amazing Wayback Machine! The best part was finding out about the new Moana trailer. I screamed when I found out- I told Mom I stubbed my toe! Anyways, when I was looking through the new American Girl Ultimate Visual Guide, I found two unreleased Truly Me pets. They looked new. I'm 99.999998% sure that these pets are new. Tell me if I'm wrong. Here they are!: This is a dog, obviously. It's so cute! I'd get it if I didn't have too many pets already. This is the cat. It's so priceless! I love it's eyes. You might be thinking, "What are Pleasantry Dolls?" Well, Pleasantry dolls are the same exact thing as our beloved American Girl dolls! I got the American Girl Ultimate Visual Guide today and I found two unreleased Truly Me pets! I can't show you the pictures yet because I'm at a sleepover, but here are some facts about American Girl I learned today! -Pleasant Rowland considered naming American Girl, "Pleasantries", hence the title of this post. She decided to name it Pleasant Company. -Kirsten's name was supposed to be Rebecca. That's so funny because now American Girl has a doll named Rebecca! -Molly has glasses because Valerie Tripp wanted one of the original 3 to wear glasses. She chose Molly because she liked how her glasses went with her braids from her meet hairdo. -The millionth American Girl doll was sold in 1993. -American Girl's website launched on May 1, 1996. This whole post is American Girl trivia! COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: Who is your favorite doll out of the Original 3? MY ANSWER: I like Molly the best because she's like a real girl and makes mistakes.

Woah- my fingers are so fast that my computer can't catch up with them! Anyways, I decided to see who will retire next in the BeForever line. This is not official, and nothing on this blog is official before a trusted source (AKA American Girl, Amazon, Trademarkia, etc.) says so. But I thought it would be fun to see what chances each doll has of retiring because of the release of Melody's collection making no room in the stores for one doll and the rerelease of Felicity next year, not to mention Nanea, the Hawaiian BeForever in the works for 2017 or 2018! Let's start at the earliest doll: KAYA- Why might Kaya retire?: Kaya seems to not be popular with the target market for American Girl. I never see any girls at the AG store carry around Kaya. Plus, her hair is really hard to care for. So hard, I cut my Kaya doll's hair. Why might Kaya stay?: Kaya is a doll of color, and we all know what happened when Cecile and Ivy retired. Plus, her teepe's really cool. I'd hate to see that thing go away. JOSEFINA- Why might Josefina retire?: There has been a Not!Josefina Truly Me doll released (#66) recently. But that might not be the case because Addy's had a Not! doll since 1995, and she hasn't gone anywhere. Why might Josefina stay?: American Girl is starting to note Josefina's existence, and gave her two new outfits (her first just-because-we-wanted-to outfits since 2007!) last release! Plus, see "Why Might Kaya Stay", because that first reason applies to Josefina, too. ADDY- Why might Addy retire?: She's been around for the longest besides Samantha (who was rereleased)- twenty-three whole years. Plus, she's starting to become online-only and lost her display case to Samantha, who had to move out for Melody. Why might Addy stay?: My petition! Plus, look at "Why Might Kaya Stay", because that first reason applies to Addy, too! SAMANTHA- Why might Samantha retire?: Samantha might retire because maybe they are going to be rotating the rereleased dolls. For example, they retire Samantha for Felicity, and then in a couple years they retire Felicity for another doll (hopefully Kirsten! PLEASE! BRING BACK KIRSTEN!), and so on. Why might Samantha stay?: The generation that loved American Girl dolls when they came out as kids in the late 80's and early 90's is now having kids of their own, and they might have nostalgia when they see Samantha and purchase her for their kids. REBECCA- Why might Rebecca retire?: Rebecca might retire because of her hair care difficulty. I have Rebecca and her hair is more curly than in the stock photos! Why might Rebecca stay?: Look at "Why Might Kaya Stay", because that first reason also applies to Rebecca. Even though Rebecca's white, she's the only Jewish doll, so her retirement might cause some controversy. KIT- Why might Kit retire?: Kit might retire because at 16 years, she has had the longest stay in the AG lineup without one retire out of all the white dolls. Plus, she has a Not! doll and a Not! WellieWisher of the Not!Kit doll. To add to that, everyone has Kit. Why might Kit stay?: Kit is pretty popular and has a huge collection. Plus, I love her personality. I'd hate to see Kit, or anyone, go. MARYELLEN- Why might Maryellen retire?: NO! MARYELLEN ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE! Why might Maryellen stay?: HER HAIR HER EYES HER BANGS HER STORY HER RELEASE DATE EVERYTHING ABOUT HER!!! MELODY- Why might Melody stay?: WHAT A RHETHORICAL QUESTION. JULIE- Why might Julie retire?: The daughters of people who grew up in the 1970s are growing out of American Girl, so there's a loss of parent nostalgia. Why might Julie stay?: Julie is really popular, and she has a awesome message. So, there you have it! AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: In 1993, the millionth American Girl doll was sold. COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: Who do you think will retire next? MY ANSWER: Either Kit or Samantha.

American Girl is going everywhere! First Toy's R Us, now Kohl's, what's next? CVS Harmacy? (You don't get that joke if you didn't watch my Melody Release live stream). Lea, her outfits and the Wellie Wishers will be sold at Kohl's stores across the country starting October 3, 2016. This is great news for me because I live only a couple seconds away from a Kohl's! There is no more details, but there are going to be no discounts. But my Nana has all the Kohl's cash in the world! AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: Felicity's name was originally going to be Lucy. COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: What was the most tears you shed over dolls? MY ANSWER: When I was watching Good Morning America last year during the Lea reveal when all of the girls were getting their Lea dolls. It just makes me sad seeing all those girls taking the free dolls for granted when there are poor people who could use them. I also cried with Felicity in my arms when Basilmentos said that she was leaving for college.
