You know what makes me happy? The fact that you guys view my blog. Whenever I get a single comment, view or visitor, I smile and beam in the biggest smile in the world. My new analytics system lets me view the exact location where someone view my blog, and I always smile. Houses that I've never seen, gardens, backyards, roads, even stores- both unfamiliar AND familar! My heart beats with happiness. On the Detroit Free Press website, I found a picture of Melody with her sunglasses. AHH! This photo makes me want Melody more! Now, multiple sources, including Detroit Free Press, ABC News and The Charlotte Observer, say that Melody won't be released until August. Boo-hoo! #February2016

I'm making my dolls 3D now! Here, you can learn more about my doll Nicki and "play" with her. I know I'll do this when I'm on vacation and I can't bring all 30! Nicki is Girl of the Year 2007. She has light skin, blue eyes, caramel curly hair, the regular freckle pattern and the Classic mold. Nicki was released on January 1, 2007 and sold out on December 13, 2007. She was officialy retired on January 1, 2008. Nicki's story features her living on a Colarado ranch with her dad, her mom who is pregnat with twins, and her little second-grade brother Adam. She can't say no- she has a dozen commitments like skiing with her best friend Becca and planning the annual School Gala with the new rich girls, Kris and Heather. Kris and Nicki are friends by the end of the first book. But when a big oppurtunity to train a puppy, Sprocket, to become a service dog comes, Nicki can't help but say yes. Turns out, training the puppy is a big responsibility! Nicki must juggle all of her commitnents- and might learn how to say no in the process. My sister got Nicki on Christmas Day 2007. We forgot what doll she was until 2013, when I became an American Girl doll fan. Her outfit was what attracted me to knowing that we had her, because the skirt was on Chrissa and the shirt was on Caroline at the moment. The shirt is actually a cream eyelet bodysuit with four funtcioning buttons. The skirt is faux-leather with a belt that is sewn on to the skirt. It is blue with a floral pattern. The boots she comes with are cowboy boots that velcro on the back. #February2016

I made my doll Ivy 3D using Arqspin. Here, you can learn more about Ivy and play with her. Ivy is Just Like You #16. She has the Classic mold, light skin, brown-black hair with bangs and brown eyes. She is similar in looks to Samantha Parkington, the only difference is that Samantha has decal brown eyes and Ivy has the regular brown eyes. Plus, BeForever Samanthas have feathered eyebrows, while Just Like You #16 and Pre-Beforever Samantha have lined. Just Like You #16 was released in 1995 with the launch of Truly Me (then called American Girl of Today) and you can still buy her today. She is one of only three dolls that you can still buy today that debuted with Truly Me's original launch in 1995. The other two are Just Like You #13 and Just Like You #19. Ivy was our first doll. She was originally my sister Sierra's doll. My sister got her for her sixth birthday in October 2007. I don't remember what day, because I was two back then! I don't know why Sierra named Ivy, Ivy. Ivy loves to do hair and does the craziest styles on everybody. She loves to wear pink and sparkles, so Isabelle's collection is her favorite AG collection of all time! In the 3D image, she is wearing her meet top. Her meet top is from the I Like Your Style Outfit (meet from 2006-2008). The top has purple sleeves with a pink and blue flower on it. It also came with a cheerleader skirt, blue felt boots, a book called "Sparkle, Spirit, Style!" and a CD with a pop song, "I Like Your Style", on it, but we lost those during our Move of 2010. She is also wearing blue flower-print shorts from the Sunny Isle Outfit (2014-2014). #February2016
