A new trademark for a doll was filed on Wednesday. She was trademarked with a last name and just a first name. This can be Girl of the Year 2017 because American Girl is generally trademarking the GOTY names with a last name now, and Grace Thomas was trademarked around this time in 2013. The GOTY 2017's name is..... TENNEY GRANT! I like how American Girl didn't make it sound generic like they have been doing lately, but I think Tenney sounds like a boy's name. I went on the Small Dolls in a Big World site and found a leaked skirt that was polka-dotted. The author said that she thinks it's for a new birthday outfit because the current one is almost 2 years old (and the life span for most Truly Me items is usually 2 years). I agree too. It looks Bitty Babyish to me, but if it's paired with a cute top, I'll buy it on sale, maybe!

On the AG website, #59 is listed as "no longer avalible." Is this true? I'm going to call AG first thing when I get up, but I'll email them now. I went by the name Elizabeth, but my name is not Elizabeth, it's Sydney. (And this scenario is fake, I didn't want them to think that I was doing this for a leak blog.) My email: To AG, Hi. I also found out that the movie would air again the same day on the same channel at 10:55 pm. Let's see if we get a American TV premiere soon!

UPDATE- JULY 12, 2016= Girl of the Year 2017's name is Tenney Grant, and she is going to be African-American! Proof is, her book author is African American, too! This is Teresa E. Harris! Woah!
