- Tchau, Lea!
It's time to say tchau (Goodbye in Portugese) to Lea! The Lea Doll and Book has sold out today, December 19, 2016. I called American Girl and they said that Lea is sold out in all American Girl stores. Try going to your local Kohl's to get your special girl in your life a Lea doll, that's your best bet. If that doesn't work, try eBay- which is pricey, but good!

- Doll Of The Week: Grace!
If you haven't read my post Jessica's Journey, where I explained my new Doll of the Week program (and added my first custom to the family!), here's the text about the Doll of the Week: "As my collection keeps growing, my website keeps getting slower to load because of all the dolls on the header. So, instead of having all my dolls on there at once, I decided to have a Doll of the Week section on the header! Each week, I'd draw a doll name in a hat to be the Doll of the Week, where her photo will be up on the AGDN header for the week (Sunday- late Saturday). There'd also be a post all about her!" So, the first name I randomly selected was Grace's name! Grace will be on the AGDN header for a week (Dec. 18- Dec. 24). Grace was the 2015 Girl of the Year doll, and now is the 1st Doll of the Week! I got Grace on January 8, 2015 as an early birthday present. It was my second time getting a doll at the American Girl store, and the manager opened Grace for me because she was amazed by how much I knew about American Girl (half my knowledge now!). My Grace loves gymnastics. Any event, any type- she'd even do men's gymnastics! She also loves to bake and runs La Patisserie, a French baking shop. At gymnastics meets, she brings out her pastry cart and watches the costumers flow as she performs! Grace is sweet and would do anything for her friends, but she has a bad security system- which allows Kit and Lanie to steal sweets often! Here's a list of roles Grace has played in SM Network stuff: AG Adventures- Herself, Healthy Halloween Girl (in Halloween Special) Live In Peace (pilot)- Christy How To Save a TV Channel- Alyssa Armstrong Anita Stops The Bullying 2- Mrs. Mayor The 10 Year Old President- Miss Rodrigo Lindsey: An American Girl Story- Mrs. Bergman Different- Clara AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: Grace sold out two days prior to her archival, on December 30, 2015. COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: What's your favorite Grace item? MY ANSWER: Her bakery for sure! I also love her bistro chair.
- Jessica's Journey
Who's Jessica, you may ask? My new AG doll! She is a custom doll- a #13 with added freckles. (Don't worry- Anna's safe!) But there is something that makes her stand out from the average custom: She has a prosthetic leg that I 3D printed! I decided to let you guys know how Jessica came to be: A couple months ago, when Special Dolls was starting up, Dad found a headless AG doll on eBay for $40, so we got it to learn how a doll is made. After we learned, the headless doll just sat around in a corner in my room until recently, when I got my 3D printer. I printed up the prototype leg for Special Dolls and attached it to the doll! Then, to 3D print the head, Dad got a creepy headless eyeless doll as a base to 3D scan. He also found a #13 head, so he bought it for me because it was only $10 with free shipping! The head came today, so I did the work of freckling and attaching the head onto the body. Thus, Jessica was born! NOTE ON MY DOLL HEADER: As my collection keeps growing, my website keeps getting slower to load because of all the dolls on the header. So, instead of having all my dolls on there at once, I decided to have a Doll of the Week section on the header! Each week, I'd draw a doll name in a hat to be the Doll of the Week, where her photo will be up on the AGDN header for the week (Sunday- late Saturday). There'd also be a post all about her! Doll of the Week will start tomorrow. AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: Despite the prostetic leg not being offered by AG, AG shared the video of Emma's "leg-like-me" doll unboxing. COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: My math teacher has a random selection process to select students to solve math problems, and all the kids love to guess who'll be picked. Who do you think will be the Doll of the Week? MY ANSWER: Hopefully not Jessica! She'd get all of the attention then.

- Gabriela Collection!
Someone who works at American Girl has told fans these details about Gabriela: -She will come in different packaging -Her Big Ticket Item will be a dance bar and backdrop that is under $300 -In addition to the three outfits that have leaked for her, she will have a warm up outfit and other outfits -She will not have a full-length movie, ending the GOTY movie chain. My opinions: 1- I don't care about the packaging, I just care about the doll inside! 2- This seems cool! Hooray for Dad's wallet! I will add Isabelle's bar and make a really cool dance scene. 3- Hooray for big collections! 4- I'm OK with no more GOTY movies. The only ones I really liked was Grace and Chrissa. Lea's was OK, and the rest of the GOTY movies were trash. ADVERTISEMENT FROM SM NETWORK: Do you have nothing to do on New Year's Eve night? How about you ring in 2017 with the dolls of Leakville?
