Turns out Tenney Grant's the modern character, because I have the scoop on the real Girl of the Year 2017! I have heard from a reliable Facebook account that never lied before that Girl of the Year 2017's name is none other than.... Gabriella McBride! Let me tell you a bit more about Gabriella. Gabriella is a tap dancer, according to the account. I was hoping for something a teensy bit more original, but at least it's not another ballerina! Gabriella is also African-American and will be very similar to #46. Also, the cat below will be Gabriella's and the golden retriever will be Tenney's! Sorry, American Girl! Cat's out of the bag! Meow! I can't wait to get Gabriella! I will call her Gabby because I feel like I. But I am really happy she'll be like #46! My friend's #46 doll visited the AGDN newsroom last year so I could fix her hair, and she had a great time! My Kohl's got the dolls in! YAY! Let's take a look at what they have for American Girl at my Kohl's! First, Lea and her meet outfit for girls! I think it's funny that Lea and the Wellie Wishers in the background have security alarms on them. Nothing has security alarms at the American Girl store! My local Kohl's had Adventure Tees, Mix And Match Swim Sets, Beach Accessories, Sea Turtles, Beach Picnic Sets, Rainforest Hike Outfits and Accessories, Celebration Outfits, Rainforest Dreams Pajamas for dolls and girls (girls not pictured), Meet Outfits for Girls, and Three Toed Sloths. And the Wellies are here too! All five. And some more over here that got cropped out. Oh, there's a couple more Mega Bloks sets left. No more Wellie Wisher books or Daisy Princess Outfits, however. AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: Z Crew's extra three episodes were produced by the person who directed Maryellen And The Brightest Star. American Girl is spoiling us with new Amazon Prime specials! First, we have Melody 1963: Love Has To Win, on October 21st and then our favorite redhead from the 50's might be getting one too.... According to the new American Girl catalog, Maryellen is getting a Amazon Prime special that will come out on November 25, 2016! Wahoo! This seems way better than just that 15 minute short that we got! AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: Maryellen is the only doll to have 2 movie-ish things. Happy news coming out of the AGDN newsroom! Thanks to American Girl's generous donation of 250 American Girl dolls to every Children's Miracle Network hospital, a girl got Grace Thomas during a hospital stay! A girl by the name of Avril, who is currently staying at the Hoops Family Children's Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia, received several donated gifts including a Grace Thomas doll and book donated by American Girl last year in part of the Together, We Make The Holidays campaign! It is so sweet to see American Girl making the day of a lot of girls stuck in the hospital. Gotta head to school! Bye!

Not only I'm sharing this with you, the Hump Day Shoutout winner for tonight will get to serve as Elliana's hometown! OK, guys. Are you ready to hear who will retire next? I assumed you said yes, like Dora. Ok, here goes. But first, here's a hint- a favorite quote from her books: "Haste makes waste, ______". Now's the real evidence time! A source discovered that American Girl will sell a Samantha holiday bundle at Costco this holiday season, much like Caroline (who was going out at the time) had a holiday bundle at Costco last year. So I connected the two, as well as the fact that Felicity will be making a return next year, and drew a conclusion. When Samantha rereleased back in '14, what American Girl didn't tell us is that there would be a vault for the archived girls- in three years, Samantha would be put back and Felicity would come back out, and in three more years Felicity would be put back and I don't know, maybe Kirsten, would come back out, and so on. So that means one thing. Samantha will archive for Felicity. AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: It seems like three years is the limit for the girls who aren't selling well, as well as archived dolls being rereleased. I hope Maryellen won't be chopped off in 2 years! In other news, today the WellieWishers and Lea are supposed to come to Kohl's! My mom's taking me to the Kohl's two seconds from our house to get underwear for me, and I'm tagging along to take pictures of the AG stuff!
