- Melody 1963 Love Has To Win- An American Girl Story TRAILER!
Mark your calendars, AGDN readers all over the world! Melody's Amazon Prime special has a trailer- and a release date! The special will come out on October 21, 2016- in 21 days! THE TRAILER IS AWESOME! I'd talk more about one scene in the trailer that touched me, but I can't because it would be a spoiler. The trailer link is https://www.accesshollywood.com/videos/melody-1963-love-has-to-win-an-american-girl-story-first-look/, so click on that to watch it and come back over here to find out what scene touched me. The scene that touched me is when Melody was looking at all of the white dolls and feeling ashamed that there was no dolls that looked like her. I'm proud of AG for including this scene because with the release of Melody, they really made a difference. Black and white girls (including me!) love our Melody dolls! Now Sydney's Special Dolls will just have to make the disabled dolls! Speaking of that, me and my dad are making a prototype doll of Elliana (I changed Emma's name to Elliana and I also changed her story just a bit) today! I'm so HAPPY to see what Elliana will look like with all of my dollies! AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: The reason why Addy wasn't a part of the Original 3 was because Pleasant Rowland wanted to wait until AG was known about with black families to make a black doll. COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: Should I post a picture of Elliana once the prototype's done?

My Mom also is getting a Sam's Club membership, so I hope they're also available at Sam's Club. This will look GREAT on Melody! In other exciting news, Gwen's coming out of the waiting room today and I'm starting ASTB 3 filming today! I decided to put a mock plot on the announcement video's description, the real one will be in a future post. The newsroom's full!
- Happy Birthday Emily!
Today is Emily's birthday! She was born this day in 1933- that makes her 83 today! Much like the other Best Friend dolls, Emily only had one book and it didn't talk about her birthday. What are you doing to celebrate Emily's birthday? I'll dance with her- Emily is very special to me, she stands as a symbol of how hard I'm fighting to beat diabetes because I won her on eBay when I was in the hospital!

- FELICITY'S BOOKS HAVE SUMMARIES!
Ring the bells- Felicity's BeForever books have summaries! Which means....... FELICITY IS COMING BACK IN 2017! Yay! Welcome back, Felicity! I found the summaries on Georgetown Publications. I'm going to try to find a international publisher for Scholastic and try to get the Girl of the Year 2017 and Contemporary Girl plots! Here's the summary for Love And Loyalty (aka Meet Felicity, Felicity Learns A Lesson, Felicity's Surprise): "In Love and Loyalty, the first volume of her classic stories, Felicity finds out what independence really means as the American colonies begin their fight for freedom. Felicity loves riding horses far more than stitchery or serving tea. When she falls in love with a beautiful chestnut mare, she schemes to save the mare from its cruel owner with the help of Ben, her father's young apprentice. Yet as talk of revolution rumbles around her, Felicity finds it harder to tell right from wrong. Ben wants war, while her best friend Elizabeth's family remains loyal to the king. Then Felicity receives an invitation to the Governor's Palace—and she must decide where her own loyalties lie." This book has a release date of February 16, 2017: Anita's birthday! Here's the summary for A Stand For Independence (aka Happy Birthday, Felicity!. Felicity Saves The Day and Changes For Felicity): "A Stand for Independence, the second volume of Felicity's classic stories, tells how she finds the strength to follow her heart during the Revolutionary War. When Felicity overhears a plot against the colonists, no one believes her but Ben, her father's apprentice. The two risk great danger to warn the colonists themselves and soon afterward, Felicity finds a secret note from Ben. He has run away to join George Washington's army, and he is injured. Felicity is worried about him but knows it would be wrong to help a runaway apprentice. Then she is turned away from the door of her best friend, Elizabeth. Will the war for independence come between Felicity and her friends?" This book also has a release date of February 16, 2017. Here's the summary of Gunpowder And Tea Cakes, Felicity's Journey book: "What if a girl suddenly found herself in Felicity's world during the American Revolution? Together, she and Felicity could hang out at her father's store, sip tea at the Governor's Place—or get caught up in a gunpowder plot! As she reads, she decides what happens next by choosing her own path through this multiple-ending story." Stay tuned on AGDN for the Girl of the Year 2017 and Contemporary Girl plots! AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: Addy could've been from the Harlem Rennisance! COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: Let's play a game in the comments while I find the plots for GOTY '17 and Contemporary Girl! The game is: Doll Names! Someone starts with a name of a doll that they have. Another person has to comment the somebody's doll name and one of their dolls' name, and then another person has to comment both those two names and one of their dolls, and so forth. But the catch is: don't use the same doll twice! MY ANSWER: I'll start- Maryellen!
- American Girl Stuff At Kohl's!
We happen to live 2 seconds away from a Kohl's, so when my sister needed a sheet for her project, we went to Kohl's! I tagged along to take pictures of the new American Girl stuff! Some Kohl's locations already have Lea and the Wellie Wishers, but my Kohl's has some Mega Bloks stuff, the Daisy Princess Outfits and the Wellie Wishers books. I guess that the dolls will come on October 3, the date my post about the American Girl/Kohl's partnership pinpointed. But on the bright side: MY MOM LET ME GET THE RIDDLE OF THE ROBIN! I've already read it, and it is very cute! I think little girls will enjoy it. HUMP DAY SHOUTOUT: Cause it's getting late and I'm too lazy to check my stats, shoutout to Middleton, Wisconsin. COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: What's your favorite book?
- New Kitten!
Leaks two days in a row? The eBay people are spoiling me, because this hasn't happened since summer! The leaked item today is a kitten! It is not the Costco kitten that was pictured in the eBay photos, but a brand-new never-seen-before kitten! It looks plush, so I will assume it's for a new doll. It could be for the Girl of the Year 2017, but maybe it's for the new contemporary character that's supposed to come out in February. Here it is, without any further rambling, speculation or ado! AWW IT'S SO CUTE GIMEE GIMEE THE CAT NOW! Sydney, you have too many dolly pets. BUT IT'S SO CUTE! Here's the rest of the photos: Too late of a warning, but this gallery contains CUTENESS OVERLOAD! AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: There has only been 1 Girl of the Year to have a pet cat, Isabelle. COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: What's your weakness that's not related to AG? MY ANSWER: I have a weakness for sinful Miraculous fanfics.
- At Last! A Leak!
Just like the title says, after a long four week long leak drought, there has FINALLY been a leak! It is a outfit that seems like it's the top of one future outfit and the skirt of another. They seem country-related, so maybe the rumors that the Contemporary Character 2017 will be from Tennessee are real! Here it is! This is so cute! It clashes, but like I said, the China people sometimes take the top of one future outfit and the bottoms of another. I love the pieces alone, but together they clash. Like broccoli cookies. I like broccoli and I like cookies, but broccoli cookies would be terrible!! Here's some other images: AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: The Truly Me music instruments have been around since the line's start. COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: What are your doll's doing right now? MY ANSWER: I'm in the middle of a mass doll dressing, so 31/35 AGDN dolls are nakid! School has stopped me from doing it, but now I have to dress my dollies! Bye!

Today is Grace's birthday! She was born this day in 2005! Welcome to being a 11 year old just like me, Grace! In her stories, Grace went on a train ride with her friends to celebrate her birthday.
