The Truly Me holiday pajamas just leaked! Let's see what they look like: Oh! All of this just, well, clashes! These are the same red hair ties from last year's Playful Polar Bear Pajamas. I like the pants. American Girl has never made penguin-themed holiday PJs before! At least it's not another polar bear or reindeer set! The shirt looks like it could be a sports jersey, but then people see the penguin by the number. OH I WANT THESE BOOTS FOR MYSELF! Overall, I think all of this clashes. But I will still get it, because it has a lot of mix-and-match potential. I can use the Polar Bear Pajamas from 2013 top and the penguin bottom, and basically any regular pants with the shirt! COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: What outfit is any doll in your collection wearing right now? MY ANSWER: Nicki is wearing the Ombre Ballet dress with the Truly Me meet flats.

The Wellies are getting a holiday dress! The Wellies are getting a holiday dress! Here it is: This is perfect perfection! I would totally get this if I had a Wellie Wisher doll! Here's a close up of the shoes: The shoes kind of remind me of Tinker Bell's shoes. It's been ages since I believed in fairies! Overall, I'm glad that American Girl is making more clothes for our sweet Wellie Wishers! I can't wait to see the Wellie Wisher show. Hopefully it's lives up to Martha Speaks or Charlie and Lola standards! COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: What's your guilty pleasure? MY ANSWER: Watching Charlie and Lola. I am currently helping at an American Girl summer camp. The girls there are very nice and sweet, and they love how I like dolls even though I'm 11. I decided to post about my favorites of the fun activities the girls have been doing over the last 2 days so you can try them at home, too! The Name Game: Get all of the people playing in a circle. The person who goes first will say her/his name and then strike a pose, and then all of the people in the circle will do the same pose and say the person's name. Repeat with all of the people in the circle. Make Doll Cakes: You can make doll cakes out of cut up kitchen sponges! Use glitter glue for icing. You can also make cookies! Cut out felt circles and use marker dots to be chocolate chips. What fun crafts have you done with your dolls this summer?

The American Girl Fashion Shows for Charity are ENDING! There's been a rumor for this since 2016 started, and now AGDN has proof. In a news story on KETV, which is a ABC station in Omaha, Nebraska, there was a interview of 2 people who worked on the American Girl Fashion Show. In the video (link here), the news anchor says that it's "the grand finale", so that means it's the last one. It's not just ending in Omaha. On the website for the show in Houston, Texas, it says, "Don't miss our final year!" The world's going boom! The last show ever will be in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 13, 2016 at 4:30 pm-6:30 pm. There is a list of dates and times for all of the places that will have final AGFS shows on American Girl's website. AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: There has been American Girl fashion shows since 1992. It looks like zippers are in style for the 2017 Truly Me clothes- this new dress for Truly Me has one. Here it is: The shoes are the Sparkly Flats that are already available, but the dress is new! It is very pretty and I will most likely be getting this item. The dress has a multicolored pattern, as shown in this image. AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: On the back of each of Chrissa's books, there is a picture of the girl who plays her in her movie holding a cafeteria tray. COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: What was the best American Girl secondhand find ever! MY ANSWER: It happened today! I can't say anything, but you guys will know in a couple of months.

I woke up early in the morning (soon Melody's release will be "this month" and not "next month"! Yay!) and guess what I found? The last leak of July! It's a bathing suit for the spring release next year! If you zoom in to the sandals, you see that the right one has a tag of "2017". My first sighting of a 2017 AG tag. Cool! This is the bathing suit. I noticed that the top has a zipper on it. Hooray for zippers! Another closeup of the sandals (but in better quality) Overall, I think the pink polka-dot print and the zebra print clash a lot. The star on the bottoms makes it look like a store exclusive, but I'm crossing my fingers that it's a Bitty Baby outfit and not a Truly Me, GOTY '17 or Wellie Wishers outfit. Even though I don't have a Wellie Wisher, I'd cry seeing Willa in this outfit! AMERICAN GIRL TRIVIA: American Girl's sales have been plunging. I found this outfit on huaclub_1984's eBay account. I thought it was for a new doll, but then HurricaneDash/theagdollbunch saved my life when she reminded me that Kit's initals were MMK. Squee! This show means a lot to me because I visited the set in February of last year. Everyone that I met was so nice and they even let me and Grace sit on the bay window! So, I have a favor to ask. Warning for all of you guys that live in the Wisconsin area! Today is the LAST DAY to purchase items from the American Girl outlet in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. You have until 9:00 pm Central time, and then there's no more American Girl outlet. I am really sad that I never got a chance to go to the outlet. But, if you are going today, have fun! American Girl accidentally put Melody and some of her collection on pre-order for AG Rewards members. Because Melody isn't supposed to go on pre-order until August 1st, American Girl took the listing down at 2:55 AM Eastern time. I missed out on getting the images for AGDN because I was asleep, but the items that were on pre-order have leaked before. Let's go reveal the official names! This, is obviously the Melody Doll And Book. I love Melody and will go to the SouthPark mall in the afternoon on August 25th (her release date, and I'm going in the afternoon just to beat the crowds) to buy Melody. I'm keeping the doll and donating the book to a local library because I have the book already (thanks American Girl and Susan Jevens for giving the Melody series to me to review!). Melody's accessories consist of a hat, sunglasses, a Civil Rights pin and a purse that isn't seen in this photo. I will tell you what I think of them below the image of the purse below. I like Melody's accessories, but since the accessories are rumored to be $24, they are a bit overpriced for what you get. Even so, I will be getting these because of the $5 discount you get when you buy a doll and her accessories. I will be using a gift card I got for graduation to buy her accessories and.... MELODY'S FANCY FLORAL DRESS! This stunning outfit we have been seeing since December now has a name! The outfit comes with the dress, shoes and gloves. I love this outfit and I am totally buying it on the first day! I know Kaya will look great in this! Also pictured is Melody's Hairstyling Set. It comes with the poofy wig that Melody is wearing and the flower on her glove. It reportedly also comes with a bow, too. I will not get it because it is a waste of money. Last, but not least, we have Melody's dog, Bo! Bo is super cute and all, but I won't get him. I've decided to stop buying American Girl pet because I have too much pets. The only exception to that rule is if American Girl makes a Cavachon like Snickerdoodle. You can never have too much dolls, though! OK, so now we are less than a month away from Melody's debut! I am super psyched for Melody to join my collection, and I will be staying up for Melody's release! I was going to stay up for the Wellie Wishers, but I got tired. That's what you get when you wake up at 5:30! Aside from Melody's collection, don't forget that there is a 75% chance that the Truly Me holiday release will happen on Melody's release day and there might be some stuff for other BeForever dolls like Maryellen, Josefina, Rebecca and Julie!
