Different was supposed to come out tomorrow all along. But, my friends got into a mid pre-production crisis and I pushed it back to July 22. But, I'm pushing it forward again to tomorrow because I finished just in time! Now, you might be like, "Hey, Sydney, when on June 21 will Different come out?" (I put June 21st because someone might be in a different country where it is June 21 and I want to be politically correct) Well, it will be up at midnight Eastern time! Sorry for not posting anything yesterday, I had a busy day. But, now I'll post 3 posts today to make up for not posting yesterday! So, this is post 1. I was looking on Trademarkia, and I found out that American Girl trademarked Play. Points. Perks. in retail services, online retail services, loyalty programs, incentive award programs and business services. It might be something related to AG Rewards, something that American Girl trademarked a few months back. AG Rewards was trademarked in the same categories. I was scrolling through AG's Facebook page because I was bored, and I came across a Simplicity American Girl doll clothes pattern advertisement. The doll in it didn't look familiar, and this is coming from a girl who has a doll-identification database built into her brain. With every single doll in it. (If you need a doll identified email sydneymadisonnetwork@gmail.com with a picture of the doll). It was like Truly Me #31, but the doll had the decal eyes that Samantha and Ivy have, while Truly Me #31 has the regular brown eyes. Here's a picture (I cropped the majority of the advertisement out of the picture): I am thinking that this doll could either be a new Truly Me doll or next year's Girl of the Year, Tenney Grant, who is rumored to be African-American. Here she is compared to Truly Me #31: The two dolls look alike, but not enough to be the same exact doll. COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: Wahoo! Yesterday, my mom was cleaning out the drawers and found a story I wrote in third grade for school. When she gave it to me, I thought, "Oh, great, a cheesy story." Then, I looked at the cover again. It was a yellow construction paper cover with the words "Play-date with Madison" on it. Then, I thought, "What play date is this? Me and Madison had a gazillion play dates over the past few years." I opened the book, and after scanning the book, I saw that the story was about the day we filmed our first video on the SM Network channel, as well as a Minion video I deleted a year later due to Dad interrupting our video with "What Does The Fox Say?", written the day after it happened. So, I decided to share it with you. I made a few comments today, and they are in parentheses. Play-date With Madison By me 2 Years and a Half ago Yesterday (January 5, 2014), I had a play date with my best friend, Madison. When she arrived, we hugged. We didn't see each other since Winter Break started. First, I showed Madison my new Olaf plush toy. It talked and sang! (Funny, because I just found the toy yesterday when I was cleaning out a closet) Then, we filmed a Minion video and put it on YouTube! (It's now gone.) After, we did the same thing with American Girl dolls. Finally, we watched and laughed out loud! (Looking back, those videos were awful, not funny.) THE END! COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: What's the most embarrassing elementary school writing piece you've ever written? MY ANSWER: A year before Play-date With Madison was written, I did not have a clue to write a poem that rhymed, so I stole lyrics from a Taylor Swift song (I forget what song it was). Don't tell Taylor Swift, she'll sue me!

The Wellie Wishers come out in ONE WEEK, guys! ONE WEEK! So, American Girl posted some new photos of them on their website. Before we get to the photos, American Girl made a video of five little girls playing with their Wellie Wisher dolls with the Wellie Wisher TV show theme song in the background. I loved this video because it brought back memories of me playing with toys outside when I was little. I uploaded it to YouTube so I could share it here: OK, here's the pictures: From left to right: Emerson, Camille, Kendall, Willa and Ashlyn I think it's so cool how American Girl actually made the wellies. They've never made footwear before. YES! IT'S A PLAYHOUSE! Sorry for freaking out, I am currently in the middle of fixing up my old playhouse, renaming it Club Fun and making a TV show about 5 girls who go in there. The rest of the photos are going to be in gallery format (because there is a lot!) I wasn't a fan of them at first, but then when I learned that they love nature like I do, I was like, "YES!" I probably won't get one, but I'll at least get their books because I am a bookworm. I'll stay up for their release (along with all of the other summer items) and will be having a live stream on YouTube that will start on June 22 at 11:30 pm Eastern time! Sorry this is a wee bit late, I had an OmniPod change (if you didn't know what that is go Google it it's saving my life from evil diabetes) and a tummyache. American Girl revealed the actress who will play Melody in her movie (no word on if it's full length, short or Amazon video) via a YouTube video today! And the lucky girl is..... THAT GIRL! I didn't get her name because she spoke quietly, but her name started with a S. But still, that girl will play Melody! COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: If you could be in one movie of your choice, what movie would it be? MY ANSWER: Lea To The Rescue as Lea! I was considering auditioning when the details leaked out, but I found out you needed an agent. Plus travel vaccines for South Africa. My hair and my eyes aren't that right (I could've wore a wig and contacts!), but my skin is just like Lea's because I play outside a lot and the sun made my skin tan. But, I'm also glad I didn't get the role because if I didn't go to the doctor's office that one fateful July day, I would've got sick and could've died from undiagnosed diabetes! P.S: 300th post on AGDN, whoo!

I found this shirt on f106684's eBay account. I love this shirt! I hope it's released next week, on June 23 (when Wellie Wishers comes out, they might as well release other stuff as well). It would be a tie between that and Zootopia, but like, everyone in my old 5th grade class (I'm going into 6th grade next year) saw that movie.

Lea To The Rescue is out on DVD, Blu-ray, Netflix and DVD rental services like Redbox today! If you pre-ordered it on American Girl's website or Amazon, then your Lea To The Rescue DVD will come later this week (for American Girl people) or Thursday (for Amazon 2-day shipping lucky duckies). I found some sandals on eBay. I know this is a funny way to start a post on a popular blog, but I really did find some sandals on eBay. It's called a leak. Here they are: The sandals are cute, but I don't know who would wear sandals with bows on them. Maybe, I don't know, a 5 year old? I won't buy these unless if they go on sale for $5 or less. I contacted Denise Lewis Patrick, the author of the Cecile series and the Melody series, about a interview on this blog. The public relations manager of American Girl, Susan Jevens, contacted me back and said that Denise will send me her answers sometime the week of June 12th, but she was willing to send me the Melody series books (including the 2 that aren't out yet) in the meantime so I could review them for no charge! With my parents' permission, I told her my address so that I could get the books, and they came today! I knew it was them when I saw the label. It was so cool, so I'll tell you what it said: SYDNEY JEAN AMERICAN GIRL DOLL NEWS 2** ******** **** LANE MARVIN, NC 28173 To prove I'm not lying, here's the photo I posted of them on Instagram: So, I read all three of them and I will share my opinions! NO ORDINARY SOUND- BOOK 1 Rating: 10 stars! Review: I loved Melody's character in this book! When I get the Melody doll when she releases, I am keeping her personality. I also loved everything else in the book- especially when Melody sees a way to connect with mean girl Diane (who, SPOILER ALERT, has a change of heart later in the book)! My other favorite part was the ending, but I won't spoil it, because I think I spilled too much spoiler tea (or water, because I don't drink tea!) Get this book now! When/if you get Melody, donate the copy that comes with the doll to a library if you want to get it now like I will! NEVER STOP SINGING- BOOK 2 Rating: 10 stars! Review: I am so honored to be the first American Girl fan to read this book, because it was amazing! I would rate more than 10 for this one, but I can't, sadly. I loved Melody's personality in this book too (she is an amazing character), and in this one she makes a big difference! In addition to her fixing up a playground like the descriptions leaked, she also organized a protest of a store who wouldn't let black shoppers in and so much more! Get it when it comes out! MUSIC IN MY HEART- JOURNEY BOOK Rating: 9.5 stars! Review: I am a big fan of Journey books, but I rated it a bit lower because it wasn't as engaging as some other Journey books (for example, Maryellen's) I am still honored to be the first AG fan to read it! The paths you can take are really cool, though, and like with every other book, Melody is awesome! I recommend this book unless you get bored easily. Then, you are good with the other 2 books. So, overall, I rate the series 9.9 stars! I can't wait to get the Melody doll! I will post more details on Never Stop Singing (characters that didn't appear in No Ordinary Sound, product-to-story relationships) tomorrow!
