Along with Melody Ellison, the new holiday items will be released in just ONE MORE WEEK! I can't wait! American Girl put sneak-peeks of the new items on Pinterest. This is going to be a BIG release with tons of items, just in time for Christmas lists! Check them out! First up is the new Truly Me kitchen. It comes with a lot of things! I made a collage of it and the image we saw when it leaked. I LOVE IT! But I already have Grace's Bakery, so I don't need this set. The next item is the gold "Bitty Baby" dress. It's actually a top with leggings, and is really cute! It even comes with a ring! Here it is: (swoons a thousand times over) The next item is a holiday baking set for Truly Me. It's so cute! But I won't get it just because I have the holiday baking set from 2012. The next item is the new Truly Me salon materials that I leaked! Each image is sold separately, but is in the same image because of post space. I have the currently available salon set, so I won't be getting the chair or center. I might get one of the two hair care kits to steal the mist bottle if I lose my current one, though! Or, I just make my own out of a glasses cleaner bottle. The next item is the holiday dress, which is being modeled on- you guessed it- #65! Hooray! I love the dress and #65! I will ask for both the dress and the doll for Christmas. The next item is the bi-annual "White Holiday Poof" outfit. And it's modeled on another new Truly Me doll, #66! Here it is: Unlike most people, I am a big fan of the Holiday Poof outfits, and this one is no exception. I love it! As for #66, she looks a bit too much like Emily for my taste. She will be good for people who missed out on the beautiful Emily Bennett, but since I purchased Emily off eBay in mid-2015, I will not be getting #66 anytime soon. Maybe in a couple years, because I'm trying to collect all of the American Girl dolls. Get ready for a swarm of new family members, AGDN readers! The next item in this post is the holiday penguin pajamas. I like the pieces individually, but what I don't like about this outfit is that everything clashes. Oh, well. I'll still get it to maintain my four-year tradition of getting the holiday pajamas. The next item in this release is the new Truly Me table and chairs set. I love it, but I already have a table for my dolls. Pass. The next outfit is the new Truly Me ice skating outfit! It's been two years since the current one came out, so it's time to switch it up! The outfit looks so good on that dark-vinyl doll! My Addy doll, Beth is interested in skating, but I already have the one from 2012. Who cares? If I collect all of the American Girl dolls, then there most likely will be another ice skater in the family! Josefina is getting not one, but TWO new outfits in this release! I think she is well overdue for a new outfit- she hasn't got one since 2007. Look at them! I LOVE THIS OUTFIT. That's all I got to say. Now, let me add this to my Christmas list! (Just kidding, I haven't made mine yet. I'll make mine in October.) YESS! This is supposed to be Josefina's new holiday dress, and it's way better than her old one! I got her old one just for the hair accessory (I don't know the proper name), which I lost. Typical me! I love this outfit! The next outfit is what I thought was Girl of the Year 2017's pajamas, but it's not. It's for Julie, who hasn't gotten a outfit in 2 years! This outfit is kind of weird, in my opinion. I most likely will not get it. Hooray for my wallet! The next two outfits are for Maryellen, who hasn't got anything since her release last year. This is a play dress for Maryellen. It is too cutesy for my taste, and I will most likely will not be getting this. Now THIS is what happened to Melody's supposed birthday dress! It's a dress for Maryellen! I LOVE IT! I'M GETTING IT! And now, for the grand finale. Maryellen is getting a..... FRIDGE! I love it! This has a 75% chance of making it on my Christmas list. If you made it to the end of this post, bravo! Today I got a new puppy! Her name is Smores. Everyone loves her in my house, except for Snickerdoodle. But it might just be because Snick ate my insulin! Anyways, the shoutout goes to: BELMONT, MASSACHUSETTS! What did you do today?

The Wellie Wishers are getting some new things when Melody debuts! Three new items for them have leaked via the Indigo website. Here they are: This is a play tent for girls. It costs $189.95 in Canadian money, which I converted to roughly $150. It is a bit overpriced for what you get, but it is cute for younger girls. This is a carriage. It costs $64.95 in Canadian money, which I converted to roughly $50. Once again, it is overpriced. I don't even think the target market will like this, because there's no horse and it seems like a doll can barely fit into it. Last, but not least, this is the Wellie Wisher's skating outfit. It costs $34.95 in Canadian money, which I converted to roughly $28. This seems really cute, and I can't wait to see Willa wearing this! All of this stuff is so adorable! The American Girl stores are now having field trips to other places! These field trips have been around for a long time, but I haven't discovered them until now. All of the field trips require a emergency contact release form. Here's a list of the field trips happening at each American Girl store through November. I hope this helps you a lot! The American Girl store in Alpharetta, Georgia is going to have a field trip to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Center on September 4, 2016 at 8:30 am and October 9, 2016 at 8:30 am for children 8 and older. The trip costs $50 with reservations required. In addition to visiting the Martin Luther King Center, the trip will also include transportation to and back from the center, a discussion about Melody's first book, "No Ordinary Sound", a Melody-themed craft, a 60's-themed hairdo for the dolls attending, a goody bag, and a meal at the American Girl Bistro. The American Girl store in Dallas, Texas is going to have a field trip to the Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas to watch a Texas Rangers baseball game on September 18, 2016 at 12:15 pm for children 8 and older. The trip costs $75 with reservations required. In addition to visiting the Globe Life Park, the trip will also include tickets to the game, transportation to and back from the stadium, and a meal at the ballpark. The American Girl store in Kansas City, Kansas is going to have a field trip to the Kauffman Stadium to watch a Kansas City Royals baseball game on September 18, 2016 at 10:30 am for children 8 and older. The trip costs $52 with reservations required. In addition to visiting the Kauffman Stadium, the trip will also include a sports-themed hairdo for all of the dolls attending, a goody bag, bus transportation to and back from the stadium, an American Girl movie on the bus ride and a meet-and-greet with Star Wars characters. The American Girl store in Nashville, Tennessee is going to have a field trip to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center to see a ballet performance of Cinderella on September 18, 2016 at 9:45 am for children 8 and older. The trip costs $78 with reservations required. In addition to watching the Cinderella ballet, the trip will also include brunch at the American Girl Bistro, transportation to and back from the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, a backstage V.I.P meet and greet with the ballerinas, shopping time at the American Girl store and a craft. The American Girl store in New York City, New York is going to have a field trip to the Gerswhin Theater to see Wicked on Broadway on August 17, 2016 at 1:30 pm for children 8 and older. The trip costs $155 with reservations required. In addition to watching Wicked, the trip will also include escorts to the American Girl store, shopping time, a goody bag and dinner at the American Girl Café. That's it! As I type, American Girl is shooting the Melody Movie in Los Angeles, California. It's official, it's going to be one of the four Amazon Prime American Girl specials. I can't wait to see it! And the lucky girl portraying Melody is... MARSAI MARTIN! She is known for playing the role of Diane on the ABC show Blackish. The girl who was in the Voice Of Melody YouTube video is going to provide Melody's singing voice only. This is her at the Zootopia premiere in February. This is a picture of Marsai on set as Melody. Today is Lea's birthday! She was born this day in 2005, which makes her 11 today. Welcome to the 11 years old club, Lea! In her books, Lea does nothing for her birthday. What are you going to do for Lea's birthday? I am going to have a doll Olympics for Lea.

Guess who leaked a outfit for the fourth time in a row? Yep, today's my lucky day! The shirt says, "Sing Your Story". It reminds me of Melody, but singing is timeless, right? Finally a outfit I leaked today that I like! It's cute. It's cuddly. It's..... NICK WILDE PAJAMAS! Just kidding. It's actually a generic fox on the pajamas. YESS! This is perfection! Melody will look great in this! I can hear this outfit chanting, "MELODY! MELODY!" My dolls don't wear slippers, but these are adorable! WHY? THIS SHOULD'VE BEEN THE HOLIDAY PJS! WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 2017 FOR CUTE AND CUDDLY FOX PAJAMAS? COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: What doll do you want most at the moment? MY ANSWER: MELODY! I am also eyeing Sonali, but we all know that Sonali's too pricey for everyone.

Fifteen days until school starts..... no comment about that. But I get to relieve summer again with this leaked Truly Me outfit for next summer! Here it is: This reminds me of Lea a lot. I think this is American Girl's "But we didn't forget about Lea!" outfit. The top is a tank top with the same straps as Lea's Beach Dress. The skirt is held by elastic. Awesome! The sandals are just that. Green sandals. Except that they come with the proof that this is AG and not homemade. Overall, this outfit is too busy for my taste. This outfit is blinding! I found a new winter sweater outfit on huaclub_1984's eBay account. It is for Truly Me because it has the Truly Me tag. Here it is: Ugh! It's a bit too childish for my taste. When I saw this, I thought it was for Bitty Baby until I saw the tag. I bet you not even a third grader would wear this. This is the sweater dress alone. It is a poor choice in fashion. The beret is kind of cute, but I dislike the rest of this outfit. In conclusion, this is an awful pink-and-purple explosion. I might get it on sale just for the beret, though. COMMENT DISCUSSION QUESTION: How much does it snow where you live? MY ANSWER: It only snows once or twice. In 2014 we were lucky and it snowed, like, 5 times.

Beautiful Melody Ellison comes out in only 11 days! A AGDN reader, Kailey, preordered her with AG Rewards and already has her. She took pictures of her and sent them to me. Before sharing, please ask Kailey, not me. All of these photos belong to Kailey. Here's Melody in her box! She has a hairnet, which I'm happy about because I prefer getting new dolls with hairnets, and she has the same limb sleeves Lea has. This is Melody out of her box! OMG I LOVE HER HAIR I LOVE HER HAIR! Can it be August 25th now? Melody holding/wearing her accessories! But wait! Something's missing.... That's better! Melody's rocking those shades! And Bo wants to join in the fun, too! This is Melody's dress without Melody wearing this. I wonder how Beth (my Addy doll) will look in this... And Melody's accessories without a wearer. If I get Melody's Accessories, than Maryellen will steal Melody's sunglasses for sure. YES! Melody is rocking her Fancy Floral dress! YASS DEE-DEE YASS!! I love Melody so much, I got my hair cut exactly like hers! I'll wear my bangs (I gave myself bangs for Maryellen's debut) and then BAM! Melody with light skin and glasses from 2016! "Hi! It's Melody speaking. I just want to tell you guys to adopt my clones from the American Girl orphanage on August 25th! If everyone buys Melody, than American Girl will make diverse dolls!" This is Melody's gloves from the Fancy Floral Outfit unopened. But what makes this picture a million times better is the Melody hair floating around. Melody with the poof-thing from her hairstyling accessories. And, now, Kailey's photos answer the $50 million question- "Does Melody have neck strings or a zip tie?" A zip tie! I think why we've been getting dolls new from AG with neck strings is that they haven't sold all of the last dolls with neck strings yet. I think all dolls will have zip ties by 2017. Are you excited for Melody? Of course I am!

Today's been full of BIG NEWS! Not only did Truly Me #65 leak, news of ANOTHER new doll got found, too! As a lead-in to who the new doll is, my favorite video series from American Girl, Z Crew, is back! It hasn't had any episodes since November, which made me think it was cancelled for good. The first new episode in nine months is about a old-fashioned movie-making device called a zoetrope. Check it out: That was a hint to who the new doll will be! You will be surprised about who it is. Clue #2- It's a familiar face! I was shocked when I found out who it was. But I got it from a reliable source! On The Story Room, which is the company that makes Z Crew,'s website, they have a page for every client they have. It ranges from Food Network to Barbie to Barney And Friends to even the NBA! So it's obvious that American Girl has a page, too. The last paragraph on the page says this: "The Z character was a hit, creating a new retail money stream for our client in the form of new products and an upcoming new character!" So that means that American Girl is making a Z DOLL! YAYAYAYAYAY! I can't believe it! I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY! Who's excited to get their Z doll? MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
